Finding Your Feet

Struggling with restriction or discomfort in your knee, hip, or back - or dealing with bunions, flat feet, or plantar fasciitis? The cause might be the same: your feet.
​
Your feet are the foundation of your body and play an important role in how your whole body organises itself during standing and walking. When they’re stiff, collapsed, or not moving well, somewhere else in your body has to compensate, often leading to issues higher up or sometimes in the feet themselves.
​
In this practical, hands-on workshop, we explore how the feet move, how they interact with the ground, and how this can influence alignment and movement throughout the rest of the body.
​
Through simple exercises and practical exploration, you'll learn how to bring more awareness and movement options to your feet, and how this can influence balance, posture and overall movement.

Posture isn’t about forcing your body into a rigid “perfect” position, and "poor posture" isn’t just about how you look - it can affect your breathing, mobility, balance, and daily comfort.

In this practical workshop, we explore how different parts of the body - including the feet, pelvis, ribcage and head - align and move in relation to one another.

Align & Unwind is a 3-hour immersive workshop collaboration from YB Aligned and Crystal from Conscious Cow, blending gentle movement, posture awareness, and deep relaxation to restore balance in body and mind.
