Your Body Isn't Broken - It Just Needs More Options

Helping You Understand Your Body and Move With More Ease

Your body is designed to move.
But over time - through habits, injuries, surgeries, work, stress and daily life - our bodies can adapt. These adaptations aren’t “bad” or “wrong”; they’re simply the ways your body has learned to get you through life.

Sometimes though, these patterns can mean that parts of the body are no longer in their most optimal alignment, that certain joints aren’t moving as freely as they could, or that other areas are quietly compensating. When that happens, every day tasks can start to feel stiff, restricted, or uncomfortable.

My work is about helping you notice how your body currently aligns and moves, and gently explore new possibilities.

Through simple, awareness-based alignment and movement practices, we begin to add more options to your body’s movement menu, allowing it to organise itself in ways that feel lighter, easier and more efficient.

Often the changes are small.
But the impact can be surprisingly big.

When Your Body Moves and Aligns Better, Everything Can Feel Different

Have you tried stretching, foam rolling or hands-on treatments, only for the same tightness or discomfort to keep returning?

I know how frustrating that cycle can be - I lived with chronic back pain for over 25 years before discovering a different approach.

Discomfort isn’t always about the spot you feel it. Often it relates to how parts of your body are aligning, moving, and working together. Focusing only on the painful area can give short-term relief, but the patterns that created the problem usually remain.

At YB Aligned, we work on awareness and explore your alignment and movement, helping your body organise itself in more efficient ways. The goal isn’t a “quick fix” - it’s understanding your body, expanding its options, and noticing how discomfort can ease naturally as a result.

Who I Work With

No matter your starting point - whether you’re living with discomfort, recovering from injury, or simply looking to move more freely - I help people reconnect with their bodies and explore how they move and align.

Many of my clients visit me because they feel stuck in persistent aches, stiffness, or restricted movement patterns. Some are managing long-term discomfort or recovering from injury, while others want to move more efficiently, feel stronger, or improve their performance in sport or workouts.

Through alignment-based movement and awareness practices, we explore how your body currently moves, gently expand its options, and encourage it to organise itself in ways that feel lighter, easier, and more fluid. As your body gains more options and freedom, discomfort often eases naturally, and movement starts to feel more effortless.

How You Can Work with Me

Whether you prefer one-to-one sessions, small group coaching, or workshops, I provide tailored alignment-based coaching and movement guidance to help you explore how your body moves and aligns.

I primarily work in-person from my studio in Saltdean, but I also offer online options, so you can access support and guidance no matter where you are. Many of my clients are local to Rottingdean, Saltdean, Telscombe Cliffs, and Brighton, but if you’re further afield and curious about working together, let’s talk!

"Following knee replacement surgery I realised that my posture needed a lot of improvement if I was going to prevent surgery on my other knee. I cannot recommend Nush enough to help realign and correct bad posture. My legs feel so much lighter after the exercises!"
